Movie Time
Anika and Celtin asked if they could watch a movie upstairs on the portable DVD player. Why watch a movie on the 57 inch big screen when you could watch it on an itty bitty TV? Adam got it down for them and I went to make popcorn while they set it up. When I came back upstairs I found them laying under Celtin's bunk bed watching the movie. :)

Kindergarten Shots - OUCH!
Celtin went in for his pre-kindergarten doctors appointment this week. He had to get 5 shots, a TB test and a finger poke. :( They checked his height and weight (90th percentile for both). Everything looked good except that he had an ear infection in his left ear. He said it did not hurt at all so he is taking an antibiotic and we have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure it clears up. On the bright side he was very excited to pee in the cup! :) Oh the things that excite little boys.
I told him after his shots I would buy him an ice cream cone for his bravery. He opted to buy a gallon of ice cream instead so that he could share with his big sister. He really is a sweet kid. He picked out yellow cake with frosting and sprinkles (yes..that is an ice cream flavor).

Tagged!
I was recently tagged by my little sister...this is a first for me. I don't even know if I have 6 interesting facts or habits to list but here it goes anyway.
Fact #1: I have the hardest time buying things for myself. I buy stuff for the kids and Adam without the slightest hesitation but when it comes to me I always talk myself out of the purchase.
Fact #2: I refuse to buy two of the same item in different colors. If Adam finds a shirt or shoes he really likes he always buys it in 2 different colors. I can't justify the purchase of an almost identical item-even if I really want it in black and brown!
Fact#3: My house is never as clean as I would like it to be. I am either too busy or too tired to keep it that way. Maybe when my kids are older!
Fact #4: I have a horrible memory, especially for movies. I will watch half the movie before I remember I have already seen it.
Fact #5: I love to take pictures of my kids...I have them all saved by year/month/day and who is in the picture so that someday when I get around to it I can digitally scrapbook them.
Fact#6: I am very lucky!! I have a wonderful husband who makes it possible for me to stay home and raise our children. He is my very best friend. I have awesome kids who make me so proud. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I know my Heavenly Father loves me.
Here are some fun pictures of the kids playing in the backyard!

Cute Little Laugh
Here is a little video of Lochlan laughing...he gets distracted by the camera but I was able to catch a few bouts of laughter. He is such a happy kid! I had to hold the camera off to the side so he would look at me so it is a little shakey. Bet you can't watch it without smiling...Enjoy! :)

Thanks Grammy and Pappy!
When Adam was in Utah his mom gave him a few bucks for each of the kids so they could buy something. Last week we finally made a trip to the store so they could spend their money. It was so hard for them to decide but it was lots of fun too. Anika decided on a huge bucket of sidewalk chalk and Celtin opted for an air rocket. They have had tons of fun with these great warm weather toys. Here is a picture of Celtin shooting his rocket...I love that he is sticking out his tongue in total concentration! THANKS GRAMMY and PAPPY!

Dolphins
Anika just turned in her first science project. She was assigned Dolphins and had to gather facts to write a paragraph and make a presentation. We found some simple origami animals she could fold for her project. She wanted to make a diorama and had specific plans for the location of each animal. She did a great job and I think she had fun.

3 Months Old
Boy does time fly. I can hardly believe Lochlan is 3 months old. He is getting so big and more fun each day. He loves to play and smile and babbles constantly. When he is really happy he has the cutest little laugh. I am still trying to catch that on video.

He is happy 90% of the time, except when he is tired but does not want to go to sleep. I think he is afraid to miss something. He is so cute even when he is sad...check out his fohawk.

He puts anything he can grab in his mouth. His favorite things are his fingers of course. He sucks on his pointer finger most of the time but has been known to put a thumb and two fingers in at once.
He has recently discovered how much fun his reflection can be. He is doing better at sitting up and loves to roll onto his side...he can't get all the way over from tummy to back yet. I think it is so cute wen he sleeps on his side.
He sleeps with his right hand up by his head most of the time...when he is really tired and I am trying to get him to sleep he grabs his hair and it seems to help calm him down.
Anika and Celtin love him so much...
