Easter

We had a good Easter this year with plenty of egg hunts for the kids. The Saturday before Easter we hit up the local egg hunt where the kids got tons of eggs. The weather was crummy in the morning so I think some people decided to stay home; the egg hunt started at 9 and was over by 9:03. It is crazy how fast kids can pick up eggs. Lochlan did a good job and the big kid's baskets were overflowing. We also got to see the "fake" Easter Bunny! Lochlan thought he was cool, but the other two were not impressed.

Later that afternoon we headed to our awesome friends house and had another egg hunt...it lasted a little longer since they had to hunt for eggs that spelled out Easter and then find some with various shapes and stickers. Thanks to Lacey for putting the egg hunt all together! We had a great time visiting and munching on good food.

Sunday morning the kids came in right at 7:00 and were just so excited to go find their baskets. The big kids love finding their eggs with clues that slowly lead them to their baskets of goodies and Lochlan was so excited for all the candy. After all the bunny stuff was over, we ate breakfast and sat down to listen to some awesome talks...how nice is it that we can watch general conference no matter where we live. In between session Adam's sister and family came over along with another friend from the ward and her daughters to join us for a yummy ham lunch/dinner. It was a nice relaxing Easter Sunday-kinda liked it being on general conference...no need to rush or get all dressed up for church. :) I was recording Lochlan as he looked through his basket and forgot to take a picture of him with the whole thing...but here he is biting the nose off his chocolate rabbit and trying out his new bubble gun.
