Over Spring break we headed to the Brookfield Zoo with Carli and her kids. It was such a nice day and apparently everyone decided the Zoo was the place to be. It took us 2 hours to get there (instead of the normal 1 hour) because traffic was backed up clear onto the freeway from the zoo. It was crazy! The weather was even nicer than I anticipated and with the number of people there we all got a little hot in pants and long sleeves. We still had a fun time, but next year we will not be going over spring break!
