Utah! - Week One

Well we had a very busy and fun vacation in Utah. We saw a lot of family and friends. Adam worked a few days from Utah so that we were able to stay an entire two weeks.

The flight out went smooth, except for the delay before takeoff. Lochlan slept the entire time and Anika and Celtin were very good. We brought snacks and the kids loved the free drinks!

We arrived very late Wednesday night, the next day we went to our old neighborhood and visited friends while Adam worked. After a couple hours we met up with my sisters. Lochlan got to meet his Aunt Awna, Aunt Calley and Uncle Kyler for the first time and we all got to meet Ethan (Calley's baby). We stopped by Del Taco (Yummy, love their 99 cent chicken tacos) and went to play at Liberty park where we met my mom and Kyler.

Friday we got together with some of my old friends from wayyyy back (formerly know as Kim Taylor, Holly Eagan and Melissa Richardson). The kids played and we visited. Later we met Adams family at the park for an evening picnic. The kids had a blast playing outside at so many different parks. I didn't take any pictures...how sad! We were able to meet Brogan (3 mo) and Tavis (1 1/2 mo) and visit with some of Adams family.

Saturday we went to see my brother Josiah and his family. The big kids played with their cousins and celebrated Aspen's birthday. We stopped by the Purple Turtle to get something to eat (not good...way over priced and they use Miracle Whip-Yuck!) Then we went to the park to hang out some more. I didn't get many pictures but here are Lochlan and Ethan hanging out.

Lochlan was blessed on Sunday...we were so happy for all who were able to come. It was a double blessing with his cousin Brogan who is a month younger. Lochlan met a whole lot of new people including his grandpa and was very happy the whole day.

We stayed with Adams parents and his brother Brett while we were out there. We had a great time and really appreciate their generosity. While we were at Brett's house the kids played on the tramp almost constantly with their older cousins. Thanks guys for being such fun big cousins!

Monday we got to see another friend of mine, Crystal, and her adorable son Judson. The visit was cut short because Celtin chose to stay with my sister in law but then got really sad. It was fun to catch up a little though. Adam went golfing with his dad, brother in law and brother.

Tuesday was their cousin Hayden's birthday so we went to another fun park to celebrate. She really enjoyed her first birthday cake!
